I realised that she had no support system, felt alienated in a foreign country, and the pressure of performing and making money created great anxiety and stress. I helped her to plan, prioritise, strategise, talk about what motivates her, what frustrates her and generally provided the support structure that many of us need, especially when faced with immense challenges of trying to perform and at the same time cope with all the mundane stuff such as finances, budgets, reports and the like. Her best performance in the tour was finishing second in a competition in Finland.
